Black Sea Spread
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
3 Jalapeno peppers
1 clove garlic
1/2 - 3/4 lb medium to large shrimp
1 can crab meat
3 strips bacon
1 tsp Dijion mustard
1/2 tsp finely minced lemon zest or lemon grass
3 green onions - scallions
1/4 c fresh chopped parsley
1/8 tsp fresh ground black pepper
1/4 cup shreeded parmesean cheese
Cook the bacon until crisp and set aside, place whole peppers in bacon fat and cook turning until blackened and blistered all over. Let cool then remove seeds and tops, leave the blacked skin on and chop.
combine all Except shrimp ,parm and parsley.
Heat combined ingredients in microwave for 30 -45 seconds to soften cream cheese. Mix well , then add the shrimp , parm and 1/2 the parsely. place into oven proof casserole and back at 425 for 25 - 30 minutes until bubbly and shrimp are cooked through. Top with additional parsley and serve with warm bread.
